I have never liked complainers, but I do not blame them. You cannot be angry at people for moving how they move. No one is going to move how you thought they should or would move. Essentially, everyone’s journey in life is unique and complex intertwined with their own internal dialogue and world view. I don’t complain though, call it bottling up or whatever, I do confide in family and friends when I feel I need to, but my foundation is gratefulness. So, I don’t ever feel like something is missing or there is a scarcity of something in my life. You must adopt an abundance mentality to truly stay grounded.

There’s enough money, success, love, pleasure and pain in this world for everyone. You will get what you deserve most the time. You just need to be patient and think in terms of abundance. Something someone earns or achieves isn’t taken from you, its their path and their journey. Your time will come when it is right. I read a quote once, cannot remember where, that said “Life has its way of preparing you, for what it has prepared for you”. Its difficult to enjoy the journey, but the journey is where the pleasure of life really is. I am grateful for my family and friends and my health. I look forward to the pain of training, it is what makes me feel alive. It wakes up the real me. But so does a small gathering with my loved ones. Some of us might find it difficult to be grateful for anything, but if you cannot find one single thing to be grateful for, be grateful that you woke up today. Be grateful that you saw another day.

There is no destination, there is no end goal that you must achieve to truly feel content or happy. Happiness is a feeling; you can feel it right now. Go to the beach and smell the cold air, and you will feel happy. We are not our feelings, we feel them. I feel angry sometimes, doesn’t mean I am an angry person. I feel complacent sometimes, doesn’t mean I am an underachiever. You must be grateful now and in the storm of striving to be the best version of yourself, sometimes stop and feel the rain occasionally. Everything good and bad in our lives serves its purpose and acts a steppingstone to prepare you for who you are truly meant to be. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, all this life is, is you experiencing you.
All the Best
H
