In 200 years, none of this will even matter. How many of us know of any ancestors past our great grandparents. Well, I am aware of the notable men and women from my bloodline. But they had to suffer and achieve great things in their life, for that imprint on history to remain. The rest are fillers, all their dreams, aspirations, pains, suffering, work and memories buried with them. Because none of this even matters in 200 years, why not live for yourself now?

In the distant future if your name is mentioned in a paper or book or memoir, majority will brush by it. So why do you even care about what people think, if they even think about you in the first place. Everyone is too self-absorbed in their own story to worry about yours, and with the knowledge that none of this will even matter after your death, live for your full potential. Give those that love you a reason to smile, you owe it to them and to yourself to be great. Give your parents a reason to smile, give your kids a better life, give your friends a backbone and shoulder to rest on.
I’ve come to the realisation that because none of this matters, I never allow myself to feel sorry for myself. I understand when I am lowered into my eternal resting place everyone will wipe their tears and life will go on. I want to be someone remembered for providing service to others, someone who uplifted others, a reliable person who reached his full potential. I do not want to be remembered in sadness, I want the memories people have of me to illicit smiles, motivation and laughter. I get how short life is, time is flying crazily I can barely count the weeks. I live lightly now, and I will continue to just be a vessel of knowledge, and I hope one day I can turn this knowledge into wisdom so I can pass it on before I pass on.

Chase your passions, drop the baggage of caring about what others think. Stop seeking validity for who you are or what you do externally. Life is too short to not be pro-active, blink and you’re 10 years into the future. Live now and live fully and write down every creative thought that comes to mind, and work towards it. Push your body and mind past its limits. It doesn’t hurt to try, we as human beings were not created to work, we were created to experience. If you enjoy working, congratulations keep doing that. If you don’t enjoy what you do on the daily, slowly find what you enjoy doing and merge it into your day. Do it more and more until you don’t have to work anymore one day. And please, love yourself instead of loving the idea of other people loving you. Because whether you like it or not, with or without you, life goes on. If we never try, how will we know?
All the Best
